Emily, with another student, competed in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America event and won a Gold Medal. We are so proud of Emily and her accomplishment. The event lasted two days and Emily stayed at a convention center hotel north of Salt Lake City in the state-wide competition..
“Family is the center of life. It is the key to happiness." Elder L. Tom Perry “One of the hardest challenges in this life is to have faith in the Lord's timing . . . Let us defend the home as a place which is second only to the temple in holiness . . . If it is the Lord's plan, it should be our plan.” Sister Bonnie L. Oscarson

Springtime in Payson
We have had beautiful weather in Payson with temperatures in the 70s. The warm weather has caused the flowers to bloom and the grass to grow. The bees are also having fun with the popcorn popping on the Apricot tree.
Our star magnolia tree has never blossomed like this before. We usually have a frost and turns the blossoms from white to brown.

Our pansies we planted last fall are beginning to produce large blossoms.
Here is a close-up of our star magnolia tree. It is actually more like a bush but we sure like it this spring. Another pansy blossom.
I really like the blossoms on the star magnolia.
Got Pansies?
We have the greenest grass on the street.
