Raptors in the Hollow

We have had fun watching these baby Cooper Hawks (mom thinks they may be prairie hawks) grow to full size as we walk each morning in the Payson Hollow. There are three fledglings that have grown to full size yet still have juvenile markings on their feathers.

There are also a variety of other birds that migrate through the Hollow and spend a few days to a couple of weeks before moving on their migration.
