Emily has just 2 days left of school! Today she received "high honors" certificate at the school awards assembly. Emily is promoted from 8th grade and now moves on to 9th grade for next year. We are very proud of Emily's academic achievement. FYI - high honors is awarded to students who have an average GPA of 3.75 to 3.99 for the year. She also earned one for seventh grade!
“Family is the center of life. It is the key to happiness." Elder L. Tom Perry “One of the hardest challenges in this life is to have faith in the Lord's timing . . . Let us defend the home as a place which is second only to the temple in holiness . . . If it is the Lord's plan, it should be our plan.” Sister Bonnie L. Oscarson

56 Candles - Mom's Birthday Party
Mom had her favorite cake for her birthday: German Chocolate! We put "56" candles on the cake and she blew them all out! She can hardly believe she is that old, neither can we. All I can say is, if you are lucky, your time will come! Mom had a good day and was thankful for the phone calls, thoughtfulness shown to her, and those who came yesterday to wish her well. She loves you all.
