Christmas Lights at Temple Square

We visited Temple Square with Bruce and David's families and saw the lights on Temple Square. In addition, we watched the Sunday morning performance of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Spoken Word which included a mini concert with David Archuleta and Michael York. It was very moving and a wonderful experience and helped us remember the reason for Christmas. We hope you have a Merry Christmas! In addition, we ate dinner at The Pantry in the Lion House which was also very good!

Decorating Gingerbread Houses

We had so much fun decorating our gingerbread houses. The past couple of years we have gone back to using gingerbread instead of cardboard. Mom does a good job baking the dough in the house molds. It was a little wild with Bruce's family and Tim and Janet with their children but it was a lot of fun and we got the houses finished. Taylor helped Grandpa and he was great!

Grandma Shaw Christmas Party

We had a good time getting together at the Christmas Party. We wished everyone could have been there. We missed Kenny, Cybil, Ariane, Ashley and thier families. We also missed Andrew who is on his mission in Brazil. Next Christmas he will be home! We wish all of you a Merry Chirstmas and trust you will find true joy and peace on earth this Christmas season.

Love,
Dad
