It's Official! "The Proposal" - Rory and Katie to wed September 1

Rory proposed to Katie today in her classroom with the help of her students. Here is Katie's engagement ring. I know all you ladies are wanting to see it.

Each student came into the classroom and, one by one, gave Katie their flower (from Rory).

Rory came into the room after the last student have given their flower and proposed to Katie on one knee.

 Katie said yes and the classroom exploded with applause, cheering, and approval.

 Go ahead Rory, give her another kiss.

Emily had  Stasha cut her hair earlier this week. 

She looks so cute with new hair style!

It's Almost Official!

Rory and Katie Evans are trying to work out the details before officially announcing their marriage plans.  They would like to get marriage in late August or perhaps early September and are trying to schedule work, school, Guard duty, and Katie's brother coming home from his mission to Mexico. Good Luck!

 We are excited for them and look forward to their "official" announcement.

Easter Sunday - 8 March 2012

 It was a beautiful glorious day on Sunday. We enjoyed being outside in the warm weather.

 Kenny brought Demi and Xerik.

 Demi also enjoyed being outside.

 Thanks be to Mom for the wonderful food to eat.

 Tim took a picture of himself with his iPad wearing Rory's glasses. Tim recently had lasik surgery and doesn't wear contacts anymore. Rory is going to have lasik surgery next week.

 It was also fun to Skype with Ariane and her family. In the computer screen, you can see the image of Ellie and Maggie.

 Skyping is just so much fun, especially when you can see your grandchildren.

 The weather was warm so Tim took the top down on his care.

 Tim and Andrew went for a joy ride in Tim's car.

Easter Saturday - 2012

 As usual, the Easter Bunny came on Saturday and hid the baskets. Andrew was excited to find his under my desk.

 Emily found her basket hidden in the closet.

The Easter Bunny also hid eggs outside in the backyard. Unfortunately, only Andrew and Emily were here to find them this year. Although we all missed the grandkids, Andrew and Emily weren't upset at having to find all the eggs..

 There were many more eggs in the trees this year. I wonder how the bunny was able to leave them up there.

 It was a race to get this egg in the tree. Andrew won with his longer arms.

 The spoils go to the victors.

 Andrew and Emily also had fun throwing the softball to each other
