Here we are in St. George ready to enjoy Spring Break. There was plenty of sun and warm weather and we enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool at the motel.

We all had fun hiking on the red sandstone rocks of the Sugar Loaf just north of St. George Boulevard.
You can see the St. George Temple in the background.
It was so fun just to explore this area again. It reminded us so much of our time living here.
You can see Mom and Emily in the background. This is the place where Emily and Andrew loved to come and catch tad poles. However, the recent floods have changed the lansdscape and the environment and there are no longer tad poles.

This is the old historic Jacob Hamlin home. He is famous for his leadership in Southern Utah and the good relationships he developed with the Indians.
It was a small cabin until they were able to add on to it later.
Our trip wasn't complete without stopping at the St. George Temple visitor's center. Unfortunately, the desert room and the thunderstorm display is no longer offered.
Here is where Andrew played Little League Baseball. Those were the days, many fond memories.
These next few picture are of teh Arboretum. The landscape has really changed here also as the trees are all gone.

Emily found a little cave. This is like the "gully" where Andrew loved to play when he was young.
Mom and I loved to walk this trail. We would leave early in the morning and make the loop around the arboretum and back home. This trip reminded us of the good times we had as a family when we lived in St. George.
